b.right! Radiant Skincare

These look so nice sitting out.

It seems like I am always on the hunt for some amazing skincare. Well, the search is over! I was at Sephora a while back when I noticed the prettiest bottles ever! I walked over and it was the b.right!  Radiant Skincare by Benefit. Since i'm perfectly content with my cleansing cream and my night cream, i'm sticking with those. Why fix it if it's not broke? I only purchased two of the products, It's Potent Eye Cream and Triple Performing Facial Emulsion SPF 15 PA++.

Although I do have more dryer skin, I wanted to go with the oil-free lotion rather than the one for dry to normal skin. The one I got was for normal to oily skin. I only did this because in the summer my skin is less dry, so in the winter I will most likely go with the other one. I love this stuff! It soaks right into my skin and is very lightweight. It makes my skin feel so smooth and amazing! I apply it every morning to my face and neck, I do about 3-4 pumps to really hydrate. You can apply your makeup right away but I like to wait a few minutes. The scent is nice, fresh, and not overbearing like others. Also, the fact that it has a pump is a HUGE plus for me!

I have minimal dark circles and after using this eye cream, I can tell a difference. I still need to use a bit of concealer towards my inner eye, but i'm hoping it'll fade with time. It's rich but not too, too thick (if that makes any sence) so it's good for during the day. It's not greasy at all and again, it soaks right into my skin. I apply it before my moisturizer in the morning and at night.

These are worth the money and I absolutely recommend them if you're looking for some amazing stuff! I have been using these for a month now and I really have been enjoying them. They're definitely a staple for sure.

Purchases

We went to the mall yesterday because some new Xbox game that Steve wanted came out. I was excited he wanted to go because there were a few things from MAC that I wanted to get. Eeee, at MAC if you spend a certain amount of $$$ your name gets put in for a drawing. It's a ton of exciting products and it would be awesome to have my name drawn. There weren't that many names so I hope I have a good chance...fingers crossed!

MAC Clarity Mineralize Eye Shadow (limited edition from Semi Precious)
I wore a little of this today over Club eye shadow by MAC, my all time fav color, and it was very pretty. It's like a teal, gray, brown color with gold and green sparkles. I was excited for the Semi Precious collection to come out, but I realized I only really wanted this one eyeshadow. I may go back for a few other things but i'm undecided.

Refined Golden Bronzing Powder (from Surf Baby but it's permanent)
After using this bronzer today, i've realized it's now my favorite. I love this! You can see there's shimmer but I don't notice it when applied. It doesn't come off orangy at all and I feel like it's going to be a forever product for me.

MAC Mulch Eye Shadow
I've wanted this eye shadow for a while now and I am so glad that I finally got it! It's a bronze, warm brown, shimmery color. I really like how smooth it is.

MAC Stobe Liquid
I've been looking at trying Stobe Liquid and finally decided I "needed" it. I was right. I used this today and I only have one word for it, amazing! I apply this all over my face before my foundation, which is a matte one right now, and it brightens up my face with a beautiful glow.

My favorite thing about our mall is the puppy store! We both love to see the puppies and can't leave without doing so. It's so hard not to get one! Although the smaller dogs like Yorkies and Pomeranians are adorable, we prefer BIG doggies! I've always grown up with Labs and mutts like that, so when we get a house we can't wait to adopt a Lab or a Husky.

We also went to Chili's for dinner and Baskin Robbins for dessert. I always get cheese quesadillas (boring I know) and a side of guacamole. Yum! At Baskin Robbins I usually get my fav, Mint Chocolate Chip, but tonight I decided I wanted something different. It was called Tax Crunch...bad idea. I'm glad I only got a kiddie scoop because it wasn't good at all. I guess it's good to just stick with what I know.

Puppy Chow

Needed:
1 cup semi sweet chocolate chips
1/4 cup butter
1/2 cup peanut butter
1 tsp vanilla
1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
9 cups Chex cereal (we prefer rice Chex)
1 large ziplock baggie

In a large bowl, combine semi sweet chocolate chips, butter, and peanut butter and microwave for 1 min
Stir and return to microwave for 1 min
Stir in vanilla
Coat cereal in gooey chocolately mixture
Put coated cereal and powdered sugar in ziplock baggie, SEAL TIGHT, and then start dancing the bag around making sure everything is covered in powered sugar
Put into a sealable container and store in freezer
Yummy!

Earlier this week my husband said he can't wait for Christmas time so that I can make him Puppy Chow and I was like why wait?! This is something we usually only ever make around Christmas and I don't really know why. It tastes good all year round! It's very rich so don't eat too much, my husband never seems to remember.

What do you do when there's NOTHING to do?

You blog!
My husband is in the Marine Corps, so there are nights when I am home alone and bored out of my mind. I really hate it when it starts to get dark and I am never able to fall asleep. I stay in the living room, so that I can see the front door, and EVERY light in our apartment stays on. Being alone throughout the night is sadly something I can never seem to get used to.
After I finished getting ready for the day, did all the cleaning, did some online shopping, and made my husband something yummy for when he comes home tomorrow (which I will do a post about), I decided to start a blog! I am 22 years old and have been married for over a year. We've been together for 5 years now. Eeek!
Since my husband joined the military we've been living in California, but we're originally from Texas. It's very beautiful here and there's a ton to do, but there's no place like home and country accents. We can't wait to move back!

I really am not quite sure where this blog will go, but I do know that makeup will be involved. I'm sure I will post about everyday life as well. I hope that you're able to find this even the slightest bit interesting!
